Higher Education is an Essential Foundation - AI is a Stepping Stone

Higher education remains one of the strongest environments for developing qualities like skepticism, methodological rigor, ethical judgment and, the ability to recognize when something is wrong. A professional without foundational academic knowledge is not empowered by AI; instead, AI merely exposes their dependency on it. Digital literacy and higher education are two fundamentally different concepts and the former most certainly does not supersede the latter.
